Protecting our Community from Federal Overreach

The Trump administration, backed by billionaire donors and an extremist agenda, has worked with terrifying speed to dismantle our rights and target our most vulnerable neighbors. Their vision for this country is one of exclusion and state-sanctioned terrorism, a country where power is concentrated in the hands of a few, while working-class families are left to fend for themselves. We cannot, and we will not, let them succeed in Massachusetts.

We need our representatives to use the full authority of the Massachusetts State House to protect our communities. I refuse to stand by while masked federal thugs attack my neighbors. As your State Representative, I will not be a "status quo" Democrat; I will use every tool available to fight for our neighbors and values.

I will not allow state resources to be utilized for federal deportation squads.

I will not vote for any budget that leave our social safety net vulnerable to federal cuts.

I will not be intimidated by threats of federal retaliation against the Commonwealth.

Instead, I will take the fight directly to Beacon Hill. Whether it’s passing the Safe Communities Act to keep ICE out of our hospitals and schools, or using our Rainy Day Fund to feed families when federal SNAP benefits are withheld.

I promise you this: as your State Representative, you will not be left to fend for yourself. I will be on the streets with you, in town halls with you, and on the House floor fighting for you. We are the only ones standing between this administration and our community, and on September 1st, I’m asking for your vote in the Democratic primary.
